D15B7 to d16z6 del sol
I have a 93 del sol S, with the d15 in it and i picked up a d16z6 for next to nothing and i was wonder if the parts off the d15 like the manifold, fuel rail, those four pipes in the front of the engine will fit on the d16, also is it a quick swap to put the 16 in and is there any special parts i need to swap this? this is my first time playing with a car but i've wanted to try it for awhile. I'm sure theses are prolly stupids questions but i'd rather be safe then sorry later.
Everything will swap right over for the most part. Those 4 pipes in the front are part of the exhaust manifold (if you don't already know). You may want check the Z6 for compression and do a leak down test on the cylinders to get an idea of what condition the engine is in.
From there, if everything seems okay, I recommend you replacing the water pump, timing belt, and tensioner, as well as a full tune up including plugs, wires, pcv valve, air filter and fuel filter. You may also want to replace the coolant hoses, clutch and possibly flywheel at this time as well.

I recommend you do lots of reading and research before you attempt the swap. The more knowledge you have on the subject, the better off you'll be. Wiring for vtec is fairly simple- only 2 wires you have to run to the ecu (vtec solenoid, and pressure switch) and then a ground.
Here's a good write up on that:

You'll also need a new ecu, the ecu for that engine would be an OBD1 p28.
Harnesses are fairly cheap on ebay too if you'd rather go that route.
