Koni/GC.

If you're a bauler, spring for the Moton 3-way ($7.2k)

If you are looking into a solid DD setup that will handle track events well, the OEM suspension is actually quite capable and easy on the neck/back to DD on. I would consider replacing your current suspension if it is tired with a low miles OEM setup.

Where do you live and how are the roads in your area?

Is this your DD? Or just a weekend, fair weather car? How much track time will the car actually see?

Also, what tires are you using on the street? On the Track? What sway bars do you currently run? Do you have plans down the road to change those too?

konis aren't struts, the R doesn't use struts. the coilover vs conventional debate is 100% cosmetics. tein for example tack welds a collar over a shock. that's the koni gc setup with a tack weld

the koni sports are the best shock for the dollar made. you can try those with your stock springs for a mild improvement and more in control ride. you also can upgrade to the koni specific ground controls if you want more spring rate.

keep in mind the sport springs do not use progressive rates. that means while easier to control they are more harsh.

spring rate is a big driver preference thing. buy the shocks first, go from there

IMO, there is no one set of suspension that can satisfies these two condition. For me, I'm using a set of H&R race springs on stock ITR shocks for the past 15K miles and It satisfies my needs as DD and autoxing. The stock shocks absorb most of rough North Bay roads and the stiff H&R race springs keep the caR horizontal in the turns at autoxing. How much did I spent? $120 for the set of used H&R race springs shipped

this is what i did. bought koni shocks paired it up with the stock itr springs, handled and rode perfect. but was way to soft for track use for my needs. so i ended up ordering the ground control setup for it and been a lot happier so far. and spring rate is a very very big driver preference.
