I have a 97 honda civic ex and when I try to turn on the heater or A/C the lights come on but nothing blows. Im not too sure where to start. Ive read a couple of threads and the manual, which is highly recommended before asking a question here, and I couldnt find an exact match to my problem, Like I said my civic doesnt blow anything. When I try to turn the A/C on the Fan spins but once again nothing blows out. Where do I start? Thanks!

 

So the fan is blowing for sure? Have you checked all of the vents to make sure it isn't just blowing somewhere it shouldn't be? It's possible your selector has just broken, so it's blowing where it shouldn't be.

Barring that, you should remove your lower dash, and stick your finger in the tube near the fan, see if it's actually blowing.

 

Check your fuses and relays that are under the hood of the car, always the best place to start when having a electrical issue.
