Hi Ya'll,

About two months ago the p1381 Intermittent Interruption code came up on my car, its a '96 Civic EX, and I research and changed out the distributor, distributor cap, ignition wires, and spark plugs as most other threads said to do. I checked the alternator as well.

The check engine light went away for about two weeks, then came back with the same code. I'm sure my ECM has gone out, but I was just looking to get a second opinion before I drop 400 bucks on a re-manufactured one.

Any help would be great, thanks!

 

should totally just ebay another ecm and not pay 400$

any damage or corrosion on the harness? or distributor plug

 

Yeah I checked the distributor plug, no corrosion there or on the harness. Didn't think of ebay, that's a great idea, I'll definitely check that out. Thanks for the reply!

 

 

Wow thanks! The diagram was really helpful, I realized I didn't reset the ECM after installing the new distributor. I reset it and cleared the code, and its running right and the light hasn't returned.

 

how much it cost for new distributor, in Indonesia only used one...
