I just purchased a 1990 crx si with a hackjob for harnesses... I am putting in all new harnesses but the po relocated the battery to the trunk and I can only put the fuse box back in the engine bay. All he did was run 4g wire to the box and splice a cable to the starter, can I run the 4g to the starter from the batt and a separate 8g to the box in the engine bay? Also do I just ground the box to the frame with the plug next to the power cable?

There both connected, either way but. use a bigger awg wire if you don't want to burn something out. Without any color descriptions and photos there is no way telling what you should do to that wire plug next to the power cable.
