Default just finished swap need some help

ok...i have my b16 in my 88 crx si...and its running..but really rough.and really rich..i changed the spark plugs..no difference...getting no codes...it idles around 1k...but pretty rough...when i rev it...it dosnt smooth out...if i hold it at like 3k rpm..its still just as rough as if it was at 1k rpm....i am only running 1 o2..but im pretty sure thats not the problem..because i was running 2 o2's with the stock manifold...and it ran exactly the same...then i got a new exhaust...with only 1 bung...so i had to wire up both o2 wires to 1...anyone have any idea where i should start? sounds like its misfiring..and its running really rich...those are my 2 problems..

oh also....i got my 90 integra shift linkage cut 1 5/8's and that wasnt nearly enough!! im probably going to have to cut off another 1/2 in or so...maybe more...so if anyone plans on cutting thier linkage....measure it yourself...

i forgot to mention a lot of smoke..thats why i think its running rich...lottta smoke!

since u using both O2 cables from one u getting the wrong readings... O2 tells the ecu to richen or lean the engine.... both O2 have to read different readings... since u got the same reading on boths, u are gettting a bad air/fuel mixture,...i will install the second O2 and see if still there....

i ahve a b16 in my car and as an experiment i wired both o2's into one to see how it affected. i have had this engine in for a year and it runs great. the only thing i noticed was that it did backfire a little but it did not cause my a/f meter to read very rich. how is your timing? we retarded a cam on our crvtec and it misfired and ran horrible and it was off by one tooth

i went and messed around with the engine a little today..changed the spark plugs....let it idle..still idles the same...so i pulled plugs wires while it was idling to see if it would make any difference...and it didnt really...the spark seems to be fine...

when i first bought the car ...the d16 idled funny...and smoked really bad...and got terrible gas milage....i never figured out what that was...so now ive swapped the engine..and i seem to be getting the same kind of problem with the b16....is it possible that the little cylinder shaped things on the firewall that all the vaccum lines attach to...are bad? because when i had the d16 i could press on them..and the idle would jump around...and...thats pretty much the only part that controls the fuel..that wasnt changed during the swap....what do you guys think? is it expensive to replace? is it a common problem?
