Bought a 94 accord for my daughters first car. Going to change the ATF and use DW1 (of course). With me not knowing if/when/or type of fluid currently in there I am considering doing the drain/refill 3 times like I have been reading about. Is this truly the recommended way? If so, how far should I drive after the first and second drain/refill? Is the purpose to just keep diluting the old fluid, so all that really needs done is "mixing" it up? Thanks!
