How are you doing it? Lathe or CNC machine? My concern would be changing the position of the mounting surface relative to the rim.
Changing the offset of a wheel isn't an issue as you long as you've got clearance for calipers, suspension components and turning radius.

Kind of depends on how much material you have to work with.
I have a set of 15" TSW stealths, originally for a VW, so there is an "addapter centering ring", about 1/4" thick, to properly fit them on to my 94RS, I did not like the way they "stuck out" past my wheel arch, so I had a machine shop, machine off a 1/4" and add the Integra "seat" into the wheel, I was worried there would be a problem, but the machine shop said it would be fine as the wheel was thick enough, 7 years an no problems. 94

Im not sure what the shop is using. this is kinda new to me. I just saw that another HT member did this to his wheels. I have plenty of clearance as far as calipers go. the hub of the rim is over an inch and a half big. so plenty of room to remove. I would like to remove 10mm if possible. Im thinking 5mm is safe for sure
