Icon2 trying to build my 92 accord/ cb7

I paid 600.00 bucks for my car with 113k miles. It has the f22a1/5spd. Interior is immaculate. The car runs solid. No leaks no smoking. I
have cold air intake and full exhaust. I'm wanting to get a power gain but have no idea where to begin

If anyone has advice any suggestions will be much appreciated

Deff NA for now. When I hit 200k ill pull the motor to rebuild it an boost it. I know there are parts compatible from different years I just don't know what all is out there. I have searched for everything but seems there is only performance mods for the ludes b
However are the f series motors the same in the two... I'm trying to stiffin up the car too i put tien coils overs on with kyb agx struts. Is the chassis bracing I could do?

Pre 97 ludes will have compatable parts but only the single overhead cam version. So your looking for basic bolt on's and how much you trying to spend cus bisimoto specializes in sohc f motors. An f22 header is 800 smackers though just to give you an example. IMO you should save and start looking for an h22a or f20b to build. And when 200k rolls around you'll have a decent power plant to drop in. As bracing is concerned check explicitspeedperformance.com and see what they have for your year. You preferably wanna get a 3point brace for the front struts, I dont know if they make one for the rears because i think the towers are behind the seat like my cd7. You could also brace the rear lower control arms. Don't know who makes those but their not hard to fab either way

The F22a engine is a great platform to build upon and there is many options and routes to choice from. I recommend taking a moment to to figure out what kind of goals you have and as well a budget you would be willing to spend. Check out Bisimoto.com and you can see many available performance parts and services that range from low to high in budget. If you have any questions feel free to PM me.

IMO your first priority with a $600 21 year old car should be to ensure that the brakes, suspension and chassis are taken care of. Once you have a stable platform that can handle some extra power, go for it!

Not many people think safety over engine mods. If not for your own safety, think of others on the road!

Thank you!!! I don't have a budget to really go by its just kinda coming along when I have extra money to spend. If I didn't have priorities I would dump all my money in her lol. Suspension is Gucci. I don't know what year to look for to do disc in the rear. How did you Fab your braces. My upper is behind the rear seats.

Well you can get a piece of quare aluminum stock about 2ft (just a guestimate. youll have to measure how much you really need) and there's a company that sells spherical bushings (http://www.aurorabearing.com/index.html). Let them know what the deminsions are you need. Then drill and tap both ends of your stock and screw you bearings in and voila. Yea it's hard not to drop your whole check on your car but sometimes it good to be patient. We have like 6 junk yards here and I come across a lot of hard to come buy parts. I found a k24 and tranny and got them both for 400. Yea it's going in the cd7. Also Craigslist is your best friend

Well a good place to start if if you don't plan on getting a v-tech head is an f22a6 head. I've read it's the best flowing and a nice port job makes it very efficient. Ghostaccord is pretty knowledgeable in the cb7 chassis.

Lol yea 400 is a steal but that's the kinda stuff I run across. Also helps to have an inside guy at the junkyard

As far as disk in the rear check out the FAQ. There are a half dozen write ups on disc and 5 lug conversions. The 5 lug conversion was pretty simple but I already had disc in the rear so it was just a matter of getting hubs and rotors
