I was checking every thing over on my motor the other day and I noticed oil around the d16z6 stamp, I had this problem before turns out it was the vtec selonoid so I replaced the gasket and put a light film of rtv on it and it seemed to stop leaking but now it's been about 3 months later and it seems to be back to haunt me, is there any chance it could maybe be the head?? The distributor doesn't seem to be leaking but it's hard to find out cause I can't fit my hand around that area to check, the car runs very well, I have no loss of antifreeze and it goes through oil depending on if I'm hitting vtec or not, I was curious of what it could be, I noticed there seems to be oil on the bottom of the vtec selonoid, we're the bottom of the selonoid and the bottom of the intake manifold are, any info or ideas would be greatly appreciated

 

change the dizzy o-ring, and hit the vtec solenoid on a belt sander to flatten a potentially warped solenoid face
