yes you can. the distributor will bolt up. you don't need to use ODB1 injectors, the intake manifold will bolt up and you can run the car OBD0.

Which distributor are you using? What injectors? You should be installing just the long block and using the old intake manifold and distributor.

I put a d16y7 block into my 91 hatch but I used my stock d15b2 head manifold dizzy etc. And my pm6 ecu. My check engine light is coming on and off and my ecu is giving me codes but then the light stays solid red but it turns on and off. I wasn't getting any spark so I replaced the coil and the module and still no spark. When we dropped the motor in, the car fired up but was running like sh*t so we took it for a test drive and ended up having to push it back to the house. Anybody have any idea what the issues could be?? Help please 🙏

Your stock D15B2 distributor only has support for 2 fuel injectors
You are using an ECU that is for 4 injectors.

My distributor is running all 4 injectors but it still won't start and the ecu light doesn't come on at all

How do you have 4 injectors with a D15B2 stock intake manifold?
Sounds like you, or somebody that owned the car before you, did the DPFI to MPFI swap.

Is your mechanical timing set correctly?
Can you check compression?
