2 barrel with a cvcc motor?
ive seen an adapter that has a notch in it to allow fuel/air to flow to the prechamber , that supossedly enables you to use a 2 barrel carb inplace of the 3barrel. (ive seen people with webers do this instead of going through the trouble of finding a non cvcc head and manifold) but is this a good idea? how would the performance be? anyone on here done this?
oh and just a sideline.... how well would a stock motor run on a synchronized carb? ive modified a 2 barrel stock carb so the primary and secondary barrels open at the same time. im still trying to find gaskets and vac diaphragms for it so at the moment its not sealed so i cant run it and find out also i dont have a non cvcc honda to try it out on anyways, hence the first question of this thread because mine 87 civic is cvcc haha

Lots of people have done the Weber carb swap. It works just fine. Essentially "disables" the CVCC system by flowing an equal mixture to the pre-chamber and regular combustion chamber. I'm not sure how the synchronized setup will work. But if your mixtures come out fine and the car runs good, I don't see any problems really. But remember that the mixture into the chamber is lean on a CVCC carb, so you might wind up changing that by changing how the carb works. I'm sure a lot of that can be adjusted out though.
