h23a1 intake manifold leak? HELP!
this is my first post here so not sure if its in the right category, but here goes.
My intake manifold on my h23a1 is leaking from the red arrow, not sure how it could be leaking as it is part of the manifold itself (?) We hooked up the smoker to it and know for a fact the leak is where that spring is, any ideas whats causing it? its a considerably large leak, you can hear it over the idling engine.
Thanks guys!

That is the shaft for the air intake bypass (IAB) throttle plates. I can't remember if there is a seal on the ends of the shaft that can be replaced or not. There usually is, whether or not you will be able to buy it from a local parts shop with a part number is highly doubtful. You would have better luck if you were to take it to a shop that specializes in throttle body rebuilds.
Might be able to find a replacement for the IAB aka, bypass valve assembly (17120-PT2-000) fairly cheap.
