ok i just got my lude and it has a problem and i need help with it... while im driving and shifting when ever i go to punch on the gas the rpms just go up and the car is acting like it isnt in get then i let off the throttle and slowly push it and it accelerates slowly. i also replaced the TPS sensor any thing i can do to trouble shoot it so it wont rev up and to where it would just pick up speed like its supposed to ? any help would be greatful

 

Sounds like your clutch is slipping. I would take it easy until you replace it.

Either that or the pedal adjustment is out of spec and not fully engaging the clutch.

 

thanks man.. like it will barely drive or pick up speed without it over reving and the guy i got if from he said he just replaced the clutch and what not. and my clutch pedal ha a little bit of wiggle room like i can push it alittle bit before it will catch

 

You have a slipping clutch. Contact the guy you bought it from. Did you test drive before buying?

 

yeah i test drove it and it was fine i went and bought it from atlanta. and i live in dalton which is like 2 hrs from atlanta and it was fine. and he said he just replaced the clutch. but imma check the pedal adjustment on it and if worse comes to worse im going to replace my clutch good thing i get a 20% discount at advanced auto lol
