Icon2 need help with ecu and main relay

I got a 92 hatch I just swapped a gsr swap in it . i have a check engine light on that stay on . even when its supposed to go off after the two secounds of all the warning lights. it 'was running fine wit the check engine light but now my car dies on me when i drive it and dosent start up . I know what main relays does and how they go bad. so i swapped mines with a friend and still same problem and now it clicks repeatable after the car starts and idles . i had check all my grounds wire brush them clean everything check the sensors one by one to see if the light goes off but nothing. so i finally use the paper clip method to check the code and the check engine light flashes but it does the really long flash where it seperates the codes your supposed to read . and it constantly blinks on the separated code long blinks . my ecu has been chipped. its a p72 . Do you think i need a new ecu ? btw my fuel pump does prime and the car does now start but its just the code i cant get a reading for it . so im asking if the main relay can cause this or . is it a bad ecu ?

Looks like code 10 - Intake Air Temp sensor. Open the ECU, position the connectors on your left and look at the left side a little above center and see if transistor Q31 is burnt. If so, the IAT and purge solenoid connectors were incorrectly swapped and this possibly damaged the IAT sensor. Pull the IAT sensor and see if it is "melted".
