A Little F23 SOHC Love...
I haven't ventured here into the Accord forums lately but I figured
I'd check in and share some of my results from over in the forced
induction forum.
The car is a 6th gen Accord coupe that I've had for a little over 6
years now. I've done a handful of N/A builds with the F23 which netted
a max of 176whp/171wtq (better numbers than a straight H22 swap), but
it was always a Frankenstein motor made of various prelude parts
retrofitted to the F23, and was never very reliable. I parked the
Accord in October 2011 and began pulling the motor and other parts in
anticipation of a complete mechanical and cosmetic overhaul. I found
out this summer that I'll be leaving the country for a while and
needed to get the car reassembled and running ASAP. I've scrambled
every weekend for the past few months to get the engine squared away,
and finally installed the new motor and got her tuned this past
Saturday (Dec 1st). So here are the details and results of my build.
Hopefully this will inspire others to get out there and dabble into
boost as I've finally conceded to.

Thanks. I need both hands on the wheel when doing pulls, and my camera mount hasn't come in yet. I have a couple short clips with a friend who went for a ride, but they're very shaky and full of expletives. haha
Haha, yeah, drive with both hands. Still, can't wait for that camera mount to come it.
Ive been in a hotel for 7 days now and got a little bored. Here's a little something I threw together on my iPad and then spent 2 hours uploading on crummy hotel WiFi...
I got the 6, 14, and 19psi runs plotted on the same graph for comparison. Wish I had the boost plot, but we didn't have it hooked up. At least this gives me a good idea of how the boost builds down low.
