Default A Little F23 SOHC Love...

I haven't ventured here into the Accord forums lately but I figured
I'd check in and share some of my results from over in the forced
induction forum.

The car is a 6th gen Accord coupe that I've had for a little over 6
years now. I've done a handful of N/A builds with the F23 which netted
a max of 176whp/171wtq (better numbers than a straight H22 swap), but
it was always a Frankenstein motor made of various prelude parts
retrofitted to the F23, and was never very reliable. I parked the
Accord in October 2011 and began pulling the motor and other parts in
anticipation of a complete mechanical and cosmetic overhaul. I found
out this summer that I'll be leaving the country for a while and
needed to get the car reassembled and running ASAP. I've scrambled
every weekend for the past few months to get the engine squared away,
and finally installed the new motor and got her tuned this past
Saturday (Dec 1st). So here are the details and results of my build.
Hopefully this will inspire others to get out there and dabble into
boost as I've finally conceded to.

Parts and Specs: (all parts are stock F23 unless otherwise noted)
-F23 block, bored .020" over
-Wiseco K20 spec pistons @ 10:1 compression
-SwainTech ceramic coating in piston crowns
-Crower F23 rods
-OEM main bearings (pink across all journals)
-ACL HX rod bearings
-ID1000cc injectors
-Kaizenspeed balance shaft delete kit
-Bisimoto heat-shielding intake manifold
-Bisimoto Pro valve springs
-Bisimoto Pro valve retainers
-Bisimoto cam gear
-Innovative 65A engine mounts
-Maxbore F23 throttle body
-MFactory limited slip differential

-DIY 2.5" charge piping from CXRacing
-28"x8"x3.5" FMIC from Go-Autoworks
-Triple-core half-size radiator from Go-Autoworks
-3" Straight pipe exhaust
-3" Vibrant Flat black muffler
-Garrett T3/T4 57 trim turbo
-ACT Xtreme pressure plate
-ACT Streetlite flywheel
-ACT performance street disc
-Tial 38mm wastegate
-Tial Q BOV

I'll update the list if I've left anything out. On to the photos!

Loading her up to tune!

Very impressive build, sir and Love the exposed Bisimoto cam gear too! Hit me up if you need further assistance on building additional power.

Thanks Julio. I don't think I'll be looking for any more power with this setup. I don't trust the stock sleeves beyond 450ft/lbs, and I love having so much torque below the curve rather than cramming it all in close to redline.

Thanks. I need both hands on the wheel when doing pulls, and my camera mount hasn't come in yet. I have a couple short clips with a friend who went for a ride, but they're very shaky and full of expletives. haha

Haha, yeah, drive with both hands. Still, can't wait for that camera mount to come it.

Ive been in a hotel for 7 days now and got a little bored. Here's a little something I threw together on my iPad and then spent 2 hours uploading on crummy hotel WiFi...

Thanks. I'd like to redo the video when my computer arrives, but I'm pretty happy with it as is.

I got the 6, 14, and 19psi runs plotted on the same graph for comparison. Wish I had the boost plot, but we didn't have it hooked up. At least this gives me a good idea of how the boost builds down low.
