96 honda accord tire size problem
Hi everybody
Few days ago I bought 4 tires but I did not really check what is the maximum I can go with the width and height of the tire...
I bought 4 winter tires 205-60-15 and my old ones (which are still on the car) are 195-60-15.
Now my question is: what is the maximum tire size I can go? and if the tires I bought are going to feet my rims? I have original honda rims.
Please help me it's kinda urgent my alignment isn't good II must fix it but my old tires are done and the mechanic told me I have to replace my tires because it's impossible to fix the problem when the tires are completely done.
I appreciate your help people!

They should fit as long as they do not rub on the upper balljoints on the front or upper arm on the rear.
I have 195/65/15's as my winter tires and my car is lowered about 2.5 inches and I have no issues so I would ASSUME that you should be okay. Like I said, my only concern would be rubbing the suspension parts or being too wide for the rim. Good luck!

Guys, the problem is not about the space cuz I got enough space and it's not going to touch the suspensions or other parts. My problem is that I am not sure if it fits on the rims itself. As of you mentioned it's 2 tire sizes over.
Could anybody tell me what is the maximum I can go as a recommendation by Honda company?

That tire size generally supports a 5.5-7.5" wheel. Your factory wheels fall within the recommended wheel widths by the tire manufacturer. Deviating from the stock tire size will really only result in the speedometer being off a touch. *edit* Or rubbing, but you aren't going too far out of spec. If you attempted to mount a 255/60/15 you'd have issues, but not 205/60.
Per my favorite site: http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html
When your speedometer says 60mph you'll actually be going 61.2mph. It will read 2.0% slow.
I also don't know why that would be 2 sizes too large? There isn't a 200/60/15 tire size.... And 205/55/15 is a touch smaller than stock sizes.
^ it should be fine then. I didn't know the factory wheel width. Like I said I've got 195/65/15 and 225/40/18 and it is very close but you should be fine on wheel width
