sputters/bogs @ 3k CEL tuns on
Looking for some advice here.....

Yesterday I was driving the CRX on 4th gear, hit 3K and felt the car shake/bog a little. I was coming to my exit downshifted to 3rd and felt the same thing @ 3K again CEL pops up. Pulled over, pulled the carpet and a steady blinking LED every 2seconds. I looked it up and it seems to be the o2 Sensor. Turn the car off, CEL gone, proceed to drive for a bit and CEL pops up again. I pop the hood oped to replace it, and I find the wire that attaches to the connector seems to have torn off the connector. My question is, how would I go about fixing this? Im worried if I fix the connector, replace the O2 the CEL will come on again....
Heres a pic of the wire & connector I am referring to

If you have access to the junkyards just cut a plug off there. If not, you can always hard wire a new O2 in (not preferable but it'll work). You can also make your own connection/connector if you visit radio shack or similar electronic hobby store.
