Icon6 1996 GS-R Oil Leak..

Hey guys .. Like my title says my GS-R is Leaking oil. It looks like its the Head Gasket But Just want your guys opinion too... Thanks for the Help in Advance..







This is were i can see Oil leaking . and it leaves spots on the floor not BIG but noticeable.





If you guys need better ones let me know.

If possible take a picture of the area you have as your 3rd and 4th picture and show the area a bit more to show the whole area not just where the oil is. I had a similar problem but it was my vtec o ring and gasket but can't tell in the picture. Don't take my word I could be completely wrong based on the location of the oil shown but it is, expect to pay like 60 bucks from the dealership if you go there.

I can't see the picture until I get home, but the Cam seal plug is pretty common thing to leak on those motors. I thought my HG was leaking as well on mine when I had it. That plug fixed the problem

OK ill do that .. by the way I'm Using 10W -30 Valvoline High Mileage IM thinking about switching to Mobil 5000.. Reason why i ask . is because my oil is turning super Dirty Black maybe because the gasket .. idk..

I would spray the whole are down with some engine degreaser and then pressure wash it off so it is real clean, then fire up the engine and you will be able to localize the leak.94

check the gaskets that go on the vtec solenoid. the top one, and the one that goes against the head. these puppies after time bleed out. makes it look like its coming from the head gasket.

And it could also be the distributor o-ring.
