obd0 injectors to obd2 swap?help?
so about a month ago i got my car tuned on obd0 injectors(running a 90 civic SI with ls/v and has LS engine harness with Vtec wired to the ECU) and im starting to have an issue with the 4th injector, not fired correctly cause a miss fire and lagging at start up causing the car to shut off at points not all the time. so i got a obd2 fuel rail with injectors and my question is if i go with the odb2 stuff would i have to get my car re-tuned since i was running the resister box with the obd0, and is it difficult to wire the obd2 injectors up to the ls harness? needing help trying to get it to run right. i can upload pics if needed
To run the other style of injectors you delete the resistor box. Google that if you are confused.
You may also need to modify your injector clip.
That's it!
As long as the flow rate of the injectors are the same, then you won't need a retune.
You never said what injectors you have currently so it's hard to look that up on Google for you.

yea i figured i should just be able to discount the resister box right? and as of right now im running the ls obd0 injectors same as the fuel rail. and the obd2 are from a stock b20 motor. so no re-tuning needed right?
Well, not we have some complications.
What B20 motor?
245cc - B20b/z
240cc - B20
235cc - B20
235cc - B18a
The B20 (depending) may not fit your LS manifold.
The B20 injector (depending) may be too long to fit like stock between the B18 manifold and rail.

so i checked the injectors and no numbers on it but i ran into another problem the injectors are to short. when i put the injectors in my skunk2 manifold and then the sit the fuel rail on top, and theres about 1/4 inch gap between the 2 so im back to the beginning again and i wanna try . so the whole reason for trying the obd2 injector swap was b/c cause with the ls injectors i was getting a small leak on number 4 and 3. but i didnt wanna try just to replace the seals and orings and since i had those off the b20 swap i have in the garage i wanted to go and try them but now i got the seals for all injectors on order from honda and hope that will stop the leak b/c it was cause a slight lil miss fire not too bad but i could feel it when it was cold on start up
I also would consider buying an aftermarket fuel fuel with injectors but idk wat would fit and if i would have to re-tune, I would like to avoid re-tuning since i just had it done a month ago
How about stock 92+ Integra injectors? Same flow rate.
I made a correction to my previous post...
the B18a has 235cc flow rate - not 245.

You can check flow rates on the internet.

Other than physically fitting your rail and intake manifold, the rate is all that matters to keep your tune the same.
