Default delsol cluster question

I am swapping my delsol from a d16 to a b18. I got hold of a manual gauge cluster that has the 8250 redline to replace my auto cluster with 7200 redline. Will it read correctly or will the tach be off. I was hoping since it came from a b16 delsol that it'll work.

The distributor measures the revs and sends it to the cluster...doesnt matter what d-series or b-series is in the car...will read fine
