hello , i got a 86 crx si. when you start the car it idles at about 3500 rpms, i changed out the iac valve and changed throttle body check all vacuum lines all good. previous owner said the pgmfi light came on the last time they started it . the lights on the ecu dont flash or anything when running or even when key is turned on checked fuses and everything like that its all good any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like a huge vacuum leak of some kind.

 

Check your vaccum booster clamp the line to the booster and try to start your car.
