NEEP HELP 90 accord no start..bad fuel filter ?
Hello ive put numerous post up from assuming ignition probs..now i guessing it its fuel related as ive changed out the whole ignition module coil, plugs, rotor, dist cap ecu relay fuse and wires..could a clogged filter cause a no start issue..ive sprayed starting fluid into my intake it cranks then dies...plz help me someone plz..
If you sprayed, it started and died then its definitely fuel related. Check if your fuel pump is working first.
Open up the fuel cap. Let someone turn the key to ON (not all the way to cranking it) and you should be able to hear something like sucking gas.
If not then your pump is out.
I mean yea a clogged fuel filter could result no start as well but check the pump first.
And if you decide to change the pump if its bad. Might as well change the filter as well since its easy. For the pump, the tank has to go down.
