so i had been debating on whether i should go all motor ls vtec or turbo ls vtec , i decided i am going all motor. I wouldn't say this is a budget build because i am gathering parts as i can. il post up pictures of my progress and dont be afraid to give me some advice on things as i am not a professional mechanic or anything.

once you get the block parts all gathered, you should have a machine shop do the assembly of it.

 

yea im waiting on a gsr oil pump and water pump. going to take the rods for treating , press out old pistons and reinstall new b16 pistons and install arp rod bolts.

yea drags dr20's, just got pr4 pistons pressed out and pr3 pistons pressed in. reconditioned rods too.pretty happy with the machine shop. il post up pictures tomorrow

 

Don't go all motor? Boost that for sure. Ls/vtec with boost is pretty sick. But what head are you planning on using?

 

no i wana go all motor because this is my first build and i want to have a n/a engine. im planning to use a b16 head, then upgrade internals maybe skunk 2 pro 2's or pro 3's.
