fuel pump bad?
A few days ago I went to go run some errands and my 97 civic DX with a b16a swap just shut off on me there was no sputter or anything, I was able to limp it home luckily. I tried to start it and it ran for like 15sec, then it died again and wouldn't even try to start or run. The motor turns over and all the lights work except the fuel pump won't kick on. I went to work later on in the day and printed out diagnostics from all-data on the main relay and trouble shot, it told me the to "measure the voltage between pin A10 and A16, is there 1v or less" mine read out at 3.46v. So I substituted my D series SOHC ECU and tested it again, it read out 1v. So I'm sure that the ecu is bad because I tried to start it and it wants to run on the D series ECU, but my fuel pump still doesn't want to turn on. Its getting 12v to the wire but doesn't do anything. So at this point I'm lost and don't want to buy parts and find out later on that I didn't need them. I asked the guys at the shop I work at if they had any idea whats wrong and they just call me an idiot cause I swapped motors in a car that was running for no reason. If anyone's got a clue on what to do it would be much appreciated because this is my DD.
