Gang, I'm putting in a new oil tube as the previous one came loose as many do and I pretty much destroyed it trying to get it back in using a 6mm hex socket, and extension and mallet without removing the manifold.
Since I'm replacing my catalytic converter Tuesday and picked up a replacement tube (the old one got a little mangled) I'll be removing the exhaust manifold to make sure it gets in there good and doesn't come loose again.
So, any tips to insure this stays put? I know some folks use Hondabond and since I'm doing the t-belt soon I've got a fresh tube and plan to put a few dabs on there for good measure. I've searched this topic of course but just wanted a little more perspective.
thanks,
Matt
