CRV 2000 starts sometimes
I have a Honda CRV 2000. It starts every morning or night as long as it sit for a few hours.
It starts with no problem and drives fine. I can drive for miles at the time, but when I stop somewhere for an errand when I try to start it, it does not start.
It cranks fine but it does not start. If I let it sit for a few hours it starts right away. It does not start after the engine has been running.
It has a new battery, the connections had been checked. The alternator has been tested.

I have a 2000 Honda CR-V EX with 175k miles. I've been having this crazy issue with the vehicle starting nice when cold, but it will only crank, but not start, when engine has warmed up.
The following were all the things I did until it finally worked - feel free to pick/choose because ANY of these could be culprit:
1. Replaced the Fuel Filter since it was the original
2. Checked Spark Plugs and gaps: look ok. BTW, Plugs and wires were changed 1 yr or so ago with less than 10k usage.
3. Replaced Ignition Coil.
4. Replaced Ignition Control Module (Delphi).
5. Replaced Distributor Rotor - the one it had appeared to the the original.
6. Cleaned up IAC :seemed cleaned (Old one replaced it for a new one 5k miles ago).
7. Cleaned the entire throttle valve and its components - a little carbon built-up but not horrific.
8. Cleaned up the fuel injectors and housing and once cleaned up, replaced with new O-rings on each of those old injectors.
9. Changed the fuel pump
10. Changed the solenoid/starter combo
Car now works splendidly!

I have a 2001 CRV, 239k miles, that will start only if I put gas pedal all the way down to floor. It won't start otherwise. It will warm up for 3-4 minutes at 1500 RPMs and when it goes down below 900ish RPM it immediately stalls / dies. It will restart and run for maybe 1 minute and repeat. Has anyone noticed the throttle / gas pedal situation with theirs starting?
