to gsr owners, has anyone connected your iabs w/a different vacuum solenoid?

to gsr owners, has anyone connected your iabs w/a different vacuum solenoid?
i am saying this because i pulled an egr vac solenoid of an accord, and it seems to be of the same function. has anyone done this before?

idk if its ever been done. not that i know of. but i do know it has the same function, my
my f20b has butterflies in the manifold as well. i just took them out because i dont know how to run vacuum lines haha..
