Can someone give me some ideas because i cant figure it out lol! ok so i took a timing light to my crank it was off a little! so i loosin my dizzy a little bit! i lined it up and tighten everthing back up! turned my car off went to go start it later nothing just cranked and cranked! i tested the spark plug wire no spark! took the cap off no spark from coil.. replaced coil nothin.. took a test light to the negative wire.. lighted up bright!! when i cranked it over it did flash but not a whole lot! so replaced the igniter still have nothing! i checked all fuses all good!?? any help would be greatly appreciated thanks!

 

not sure what you mean by negative wire.
have you checked for 12v at the blk/ylw tracer wire?
if you have 12v there, while cranking, check for crank signal at the distributor connector

 

i took the test light to the -negative on the coil pack coming from the igniter itself.. an are you talking about the +positive black & yellow wire from igniter to the coil?? or somewere else? im not to sure which is the tracer wire.

 

el crapitan means the black/yellow going to the distributor assembly.

Also, MM&Y of car would help.94
