What does that even mean? We have no clue what motor or anything except you have type R cams.

Yes it would be a great buy. Granted your going to spend some money on the setup, however it will be more than worth it since S300 gives you the ability to tune for literally anything. Plus down the road when you decide to upgrade any parts you will have an ecu that is able to work with those changes (with new tune of course). Just make sure not to over look the simple things such as matching the make and model of your car to the coversion harness that you will need (OBD2B, OBD2A etc).

 

so i will need a conversion harness??what one will i need. so before i go get it tuned i should buy it i guess???

OP, if you want to know if the S300 is a good buy, you need to tell us what you're trying to accomplish. A list of parts is not an end goal. For a non-boosted daily driver an S300 might be overkill. It wouldn't be a bad buy but it might be more than you need.

^^^^^ agree can be way to exccesive for a na s200/s100 is better way to go, a reflash sucks not the best way of doing it. Also the op might just be a rookie as well,might not no much maybe came up on a car blew the motor, car is at the shop doesnt want to get rip off,or just a rookie and he is 16 year old on mommy and daddy budget. Dont know but u gotta ask better questions and do some R&R op before u write.

civic 1999 coup. but i know a guy at a tuner shop and hes chipping me a p28 with type r base map and the Skunk2 obd2-obd1 jumper harness and im just going to get it street tuned at the local shop
