Default chipped p75 ecu running b16 no vtec?

so i have obd0 b16a vtec engine converted to obd1. it used to run mint, vtec worked perfect. but i fried my ecu because there was tinfoil in the ecu fuse, ne ways i bought a so called "chipped p28" of ebay...it ended up being a chipped p75. i brought that into a few different shops around town, and put a b16 map on it, but theres no friggin vtec action.. SO my question is will a p75 actually run a b16? because i no its actually from a non vtec integra...also the car idles insanely low...any help would be awsome!

A p75 and a p06 ecu are non-vtec ecus.
Vtec hardware must be added to the ecus for them to work with a vtec engine.
You must also have the proper vtec tune on your 28 pin eprom chip.

You should also make sure you are throwing no malfunction indication codes.
