i have 00 si and last night on my way home my car was running horrible. it was missin real bad, it sounded like a subaru. this morning i got my scan tool and had missfire on 2,3,4 and a p1399 and didnt give a description on what it is. i replace plugs, wires, cap and rotor, the dizzy is fairly new i dont think it would be faulty but who knows, and still runs the same. im thinking it might be ckf, i need any advice thank you

 

On your injectors there is filters.pop them out and spray them down with brake cleaner worked for me had the same situation my injector filters were clogged. Also change your fuel filter why your at it. It may not be the solution but I hope it is

 

P1399 is a manufacturer-specific ignition misfire code.

Start off by resetting the ECU and seeing what codes come back. Resetting the ECU is simple - either remove the ECU fuse, or disconnect the positive battery cable. Try to start the car. It obviously won't start, but this discharges any residual power left in the car's circuitry. Reinstall the ECU fuse or reconnect the positive battery terminal. Start the car.

If the misfire codes come back, do a compression test, post those numbers, and try to find a friend with a working distributor you could borrow for diagnostic purposes.
