my rear side window seal is so faded, or dry rotted it looks really bad.
I'm thinking about painting it, if so what color should I do... flat clack? semi gloss? or is it easily replaceable?
I'd much rather replace it but I cant find the part on any site, or i just don't know what its called... any input is appreciated thanks.

i was at advanced auto and saw some paint for vinyl/rubber trim. VHT has a vinyl spray paint thats pretty good too. you would just have to make sure to mask the area off really good. Id go with a satin finish.

You can get the seals from BKHonda under rear quarter glass. I think it was like 40-50$. BK has good prices with 30% off Honda and they're quick. Check out my build thread. What I did was I painted that area completely (with the rear quarter glass and seal out) and I put the new seal on (OEM from Honda), see what touches, wire wheel the paint off that the seal would touch off, and use polyurethane to seal it to the window. Pretty easy but make sure that you purchase the Honda OEM seal. Hope this helps

If you do not desire to replace the seals, I would suggest dying the seals black instead of painting them. The dye lasts a long time and can not flake.
