What engines would fit into my 1998 Honda Accord LX 4dr? It currently has an F23A4 in it.

 

F20B, F22A, F22B, H22A, H23A, C20, C23, C25, C30, C32, C35, J series and K series engines will fit...

You can pretty much put any engine in there that you want. Depends on how much work you want to do and how much money you want to spend!

 

u can put any engine u want in the accord just on certain engines u would have to change the motor mounts

 

Alright. Did a bit of research and because of the price and similarity to the specs of the engine I have in my car now, I might go with the H22A when the time is right.

Anyone you know of who's gone through this transition? Any thoughts? Thought dropping under a 2l wouldn't be wise so I decided to stay away from the common B engines.

Based on your name, I'm thinking you mean the F20B - the H22A and it are nearly identical.

 

You shouldn't assume or base anything on a user name. He though the F20B was an ITR engine. I am going to assume that he's just getting into the Honda game!

 

can i put a h23 in my 94 honda accord lx 5 speed i know it will build up to the tranny and i am pritty shure it should boilt up to the motot mounts i am get the ecu with it and just wondering if there is anything else i need to do please help i am new to the honda cars and i want to learn as much as i can

 

I think a F16 jet turbine with custom mounts for the A piller and c piller... just keep the thrust down, might wake people up
