My friend has a Phoenix Gold Ti 800.1 Amp powering his [2] Kicker Solo-Baric 10" L7 subs and they hit HARD AS HELL. I have never ever heard anything bad about Phoenix Gold and i dont think i ever will. You get what you pay for, and if you have the money and you are willing to spend it, and you want to go PG than i suggest you go with their Ti series, AWESOME Amps!!! I give you my

I would consider PG to be one of the better companies out there...I had their MX3i and a EQ232 that were excellent. THe Ti amps are great, and will drive a 1 ohm stereo load. They also have great lower lines of amps (tantrum and QX) plus the elite series coms are supposed to be good. And they made the Cyclone back in the day ("sub" linear to 10Hz)

Very good brand. One of the few products still made in USA. Their amplifiers are very clean, always under rated (watts, efficiency and S/N) and are simply put together very well. Our problem/return rate on them is one of our lowest.

Highly recommended!

Check out what we offer from them:

PG is great for accessories and amps. Don't bother with their subs or speakers.

well I dont know about dislocating the shoulder but its not all about subs and amps that makes you hit as hard as you want. Its all in the install, and if you have the money PG older amps are pretty nice like the zpa0 series, its somethin like that. Just like fosgate, I hate fosgate now but fosgates older amps are sweet. Like the 500.2 and no the this years 500.2 or the 500@2.

For the new 12L7's, I'd give them eash around 750 watts.... If you're stuck on PG, then each sub should have a 600Ti on them. But that's over 1G on 2 amps!!! I like PG a lot, but their amps costs way too much!!!

BTW, you're gonna put these L7's in a ported box right??? That's the only way you'll get the bass you want....

Look into mmats, Arc, Zapco, and the likes if you have endless flow and really want it for show....

if you want sound quality I wouldnt do Earthquake, earthquake amps are more for SPL competitions than anything.

I have 2 PG with a PG cross over. Without a fan, they never never had a problem. Very good quality. Better than MTX and fosgate in my opinion.

Yeah I would say PG is alot better than RF, cuz I hate RF. I would say one of the nicest amps are US amps, also look into amps like zapco, ppi, crossfire, and helix.
