Default Sputtering at 3300+ rpm, help please!!!

Hello, I drive a 1993 Del Sol (S, if it matters) with a d15z1 swap. My problem is when my rpms get to 3300 my engine starts to sputter. It's a 5-spd and it does it in every gear (up until 3rd cause i couldnt go any faster due speed limits).

Conditions: It was a little after 2 am and it was extremely cold (approximately 30 degrees F or lower). I was in a hurry to get home so i didnt wait but 2 or 3 minutes to let the engine warm up. And the intake doesnt quite fit the car...as in it's not even connected...I bought the car 4 days ago and thats how it was when i drove it home, ran fine the whole way back (2 hour drive).

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Edits: the engine sputters around 2300+ Rpms. Also, I've noticed it does this after sitting overnight in the cold. It's fine after i drive it a little. Could it just be me not waiting long enough for the engine to warm?
Sorry if I cause any unnecessary headaches, this is my first Honda so please bear with me

Low on oil will do that but since its intermittent I would go towards the distributor. Could be crank sensor vehicle unit must be replaced. Check basic ignition components and moisture and arcs in your cap.

another thing it could be if you say that it runs bad when cold but once it starts to warm up i fine is that it could be the coolant temp sensor.i had a Honda that did the opposite of yours it ran good when cold then sputtered real bad when warm and turned out the coolant temp sensor was bad and was telling the ecu to give it extra gas when it didn't need it. i replaced that and it ran a lot better. your sensor could be telling the ecu that the car is warm when really it isn't and its not getting enough gas to warm up but then once the car warms it it runs better. that's my guess anyway.

i would start with attaching the intake making sure its proper. it is allowing moisture directly into the throttle body which would cause sputter. then check the rotor so that its not burnt up and check the distributor cab for a crack in it by pulling off and holding it to light to see hrough it

No check engine light? Where you live that car came from Akron Ohio didn't it? I'm 30 min or so south of there. Might be able to help.

Or restricted I take system such as a clogged air filter. Pull your spark plugs out and inspect for water, oil etc. weak spark will also cause that. Old plugs, coil, wires or igniting wire arcing.
