searched and could not find anything. Am running a 2.5" straight through to a es tuning muffler notice how much quieter my buddies car is running the same setup, my question is do these mufflers blow out and getting louder over time?thanks in advance for any info.
I think every muffler "blows out" eventually. I know my Spoon N1 did, hell even a good friend of mine blew his oem muffler out. Granted it was a stock 92-5 Civic muffler with an SiR2 swap but still...that thing got raspy.

thanks for the info, time for a new muffler my car is loud as hell
just because your mufflers is getting loud doesn't really mean it going to blow out ,most likely you're just hear it star falling apart in the inside ,little by little , my old ws2 did that ,

i like my cars as quiet as possble with out sacrificing to much power-
Cut the muffler open and repack them with motorcycle muffler repacking kits.. reweld and sound like it was new maybe even quieter ( as some mufflers used crap packing to begin with)
I used this link back in 08 and the muffler still sounds good

my muffler is a little over 5yrs old
I really like my EsTuning muffler.
And I agree with the above statements, eventually the material inside will break down over time. Just like a catalytic converter does.

had an ES tuning before and it was stupid loud, but maybe thats just me. switched to a 2012 civic si muffler recently and im super happy with the results (running 2.5" with 18" resonator)
