Shaved engine bay and fuse box relocation
My winter project involves shaving my engine bay and relocating my fuse box to the interior (battery to the trunk).
THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE DONE IT, where and how did you mount the fuse box? I was thinking of relocating the ecu to under the passenger seat, removing the bracket it mounts to and the sound deadening behind its stock location and somehow mount the fuse box there. I want to keep the fuse box as far away from my passengers feet as I can, as well as keep my interior looking stock (apart from the lack of rear seats). Since I'm building my own engine/ecu harness, the only issue with relocating the ecu is making the interior side wires a little longer...
Pics would be helpful if possible.
Oh yeah, it's a fourth gen, and I don't want to ditch the HVAC(delete) system.

Im right in the middle of doing this. I actually removed my heater/blower (more room now besides I live in So. Cal. never gets below 30˚). My A/C was removed years ago because it wasnt working. Ill post pics once I figure it out. Also relocated my battery, and cleaned up my wire harness.
Ya there is tons of room if the blower is gone. I live in canada and don't drive it half the year due to snow and heavy road salting... But the spring and fall seasons can get pretty chilly in the mornings on the way to work so keeping the blower and heater core is a must.
