Now that its COLD weather = im getting slight grinding shifting into 3rd gear????!!
ok its been getting cold lately and when i first go to driver my hactch in the morning i notice that it will grind going into third gear. i even let the car warm up for about 3-5 min before driving but dies not help.
only after actually driving around for 15+ minutes does it become smooth into 3rd!! all summer long it NEVER grinded at all in any gear so its clearly a weather issues.
now my question is, have any of you had this problem and did youever try Penzoil SYnchromesh to fix it? right now i got honda mtf in it for about 8 months now. im reading from different threads mixed reviews about penz synchro. some say penzoil helps some say it doesnt and some say its actually bad for our trannies.
btw this is for a b18c1 engine please help!!!

I have been using Pennzoil oil and Synchromesh in my 94 RS since new, drag raced and autocrossed all it's life, along with being my DD. still runs great, [227,000 Km] does not burn any oil.
I would drain the transmission and refill to insure it is at the correct level. 94

have you ever experienced notchy shifting or grinds when really cold outside? will the penzoil synchromesh fix the notchiness when cold and grinds?
