92 dx wont start NO SPARK!!!!!!
I HAVE SEARCHED AND STILL READING THREADS, BUT I THOUGHT I WOULD START MY OWN.So i was on my way to work this morning and i was at a stop light waiting to turn right. after traffic cleared, i went to let out the clutch and give it some gas, then it lurched then died. while i was coasting to a stop i tried starting it again. it started for a brief second then nothing. im fairly new to this stuff. so one of my coworkers looked at it and checked for spark. NO SPARK at the plug wire. i replaced the coil and igniter. and tried starting. still no spark. another coworker had a main relay lying around so i tried that. still nothing. tried another coworkers coil and igniter from a fairly new distributor. still no spark checked fuses under hood and dash. all look good. Have yet to test anything with a volt/ohm meter. gonna try Friday. one coworker said that he experienced this once. he replaced coil, igniter then entire distributor unit. and replaced main relay. he had no spark. he said that the ecu wasnt sending or reciving a signal from the icm. is that a possibility? Could i have a bad ecu. i read something about checking a21 pin? and something about a 220uf 10v cap being to low voltage and burnging up? Please help guys, its my only car and i live about 45 miles from my work and car is stuck at my work...........

i was reading that the honda ecu's had a capacitor that was to low voltage in the and they would just burn u over time. and from what i read on HT 1 guy had that problem and put a higher voltage cap in it and it ran fine after.????
