Hello,

Is anyone familiar with the service manual for verifying crank shaft bore sizes, bearings, etc... This may sounds stupid, but I can't figure out what USA, Mexico, and Japan produced means.... how can you tell? Does the serial on the front of the engine tell you? i.e. 1000001-2000001.

I believe your assumption is correct about using the serial number as the reference point.
