My sohc i know it has a bad injector because i have black dust on the rear bumper all the time but now it burns 1 quart of oil a week.some people say is the valve seals some say is the rings. My car doesnt smoke in the morning, but it smokes white when i accelerate,it dont smoke when idle or when moving , only when parked and i accelerate, could be this white smoke be from to much fuel on the chamber and the oil burn from bad valve seals.

 

Blue smoke = burning oil
Black smoke = too much fuel
White smoke = burning coolant

Black dust on the bumper is carbon which wouldnt be related to a fuel injector

For the qt of oil gone thru a week, it will be the valve seals or rings....thats why you do a leakdown test to determine which area is letting oil through if not both.

 

White smoke dont smell sweet and i check my cooland and is not dirty.
Smokes only when i rev ,but when is moving it dont smoke.ill gues ill do the leakdown test. Thanks

 

valves or rings man. this stuff's in the manual. do a leakdown test.
