I have a 90 dx motor, had a new clutch, got a d16a6, can i swap the clutch over to the d16a6? Please give me some ideas so let me know.
Yup. All D-series motors have interchangeable clutch's.
What makes a difference is the tranny - as long as the tranny you're using now is an '89 or above, you'll be okay. (considering this newer clutch came with the '90 Dx motor/tranny)
