WTB: D16Y8 Auto to Manual Swap, Need Parts
Looking to do a manual swap on my 2000 automatic civic. Its a D16Y8, so i am looking for the complete swap if anyone has it, or just parts listed below. Im in South Jersey, but willing to travel north. If not, would appreciate parts shipped. Looking specifically for:
D16Y8 (EX) 5Spd Tranny
Tranny Mount/Bracket
Reverse Sensor/Speed Sensor
Clutch Master Cylinder
Clutch Lines
5 Spd Pedal Assembly
5spd OBD2b ECU for Vtec
PM or Bump for any items you have for sale. Thanks

I have the front and top d trans mounts, pedal assy, hard lines, soft line, and clutch master and slave cylinder all from a 99 teg. They will work as I have used the lines etc from an eg into an ek for an auto to manual conversion..

Yes....I did an auto to manual conversion on an ek with the same parts. I do not have a tranny or linkage or the ecu. I have the flywheel, which will need turned and you'll still need a clutch as well....

text me at 319 883 5110 if you need anything I can get these parts i also have a y8 tranny that has a bad ISB in it ive been meaning to fix it..

i have a ex d series transmission for 250 it has both sensors. lighten flywheel for 50 or stock flywheel for 25. 50 for both axles. im located in DE.....PM me if intrested

Not necessary. Just did this swap in my EK. I have some parts left over too (clutch master and slave cylinder, EG hard lines, flywheel and bolts, pressure plate and bolts, clutch disc and more I'm sure). I have a 1999-2000 Y8 M/T engine harness too if you're looking to make it a cleaner installation without cutting up the old harness. I'm in eastern PA, about 15mins from Philipsburg, NJ.
