Default D15b7. 102->200hp?

Lets make this short:
What would be the cheapest way to get 200hp for D15b7?
And in what order should i change the parts?

Turbo is not an option because of Finlands idiot laws...
Also excuse me for my bad english.

200HP will be lots of money poured into the motor without just turbocharging..

If you want it quicker, then the money youd spend would be better just to swap to a B series.

1. D-Series can only really have a lot of HP with Turbocharging.
2. Not much aftermarket for D-Series
3. B-Series can be easily found and installed for little money
4. B16 is a factory option depending on your market, so I'm sure it would be a legal swap.

There's many more reason to go B-series, if you can't turbocharge the D-Series legally.

Thanks for your respond. ''Easily installed'' What about the bracket placement and ecu? I've been told that ecu changing is frigging hard and expensive? o.o

Consider that you would need 126 lbs-ft of torque at 9000 RPMs to accomplish this. Take a look at some dyno sheets and you'll see how hard that can be.

Don't do a b swap they are way overpriced. Look up the h22 swap 200hp and 150 lbs of tq costs almost as much as a b swap and you can use the h2b adapter and use a b-series engine and achieve better power for the same or a little bit more than a b swap. If the h22 is too expensive look into the jdm F20b motor, manual version. Its a 2.0l destroked h22, is rev happy and was apparently the test bed for the f20c in the s2k

for a street driven car 200hp out of a d series is just not realistic.
look at some of Bisi's older builds when he was running a sohc d series non vtec engine, he made 238 whp, but this was a full blown drag race ONLY engine.

yes you can make the power. but no its not cheap or easy.
lots of forged parts, super high compression, great tuning, wild cams and more...

Take the mounts from a 94-01 integra to use, and depending on your car the ECU swap is easy. Just search for b series swaps for whichever car you have.

if your saying changing a ecu is hard an expensive. your better off not trying to make 200 hp in a single cam, it wont be easy an wont be cheap either. just get a ls/b20 swap.
