I would start here ^^

Obviously running way too rich.

go get it tuned from a real tuner and not some mystery chip that does nothing.

Custom ECU chipped how?
ECU is a what?
Tuned by who?

You cant have all these nice goodies put on an engine and not have it properly tuned on a dyno.

Some goodies can also have a reverse effect on an engines performance.

Fill us in on the whole story... something is missing here.
Its obvious you arent experienced because if my "tuned car" was doing this, I'd march right back to the guy who tuned your car and have him fix it.

^^
I agree.

everyone buys this performance part and that performance part and decides to go cheap on the tuning or lack of tuning. Tuning is the most important part!

It's been said many times before, but you obviously missed it: If you feel vtec, your car isn't tuned right. It should be a smooth transition between lobes in the powerband, not a "Holy **** there it is!".

Also, the fact that your car is running pig rich has nothing to do with vtec - it has everything to do with the fact that your car isn't tuned.
