Default could it be torque mounts??

Hi guys,

This time google didnt help!

2 months ago i changed the 2 engine mounts and tranny mount (all OEM) coz the engine was moving really bad.

The issue is that i can still feel some shaking when coming to a stop.
Exmaple if im in 1st or gear (RPM 3.5 K) and deaccelerating, at RPM 2 K i feel like the engine is moving front and back untill i press the clutch.

I dont think that this is normal.

Any body got any idea of that could be due to bad torque mounts?

There are lots of people who dont run torque mounts at all and dont experience any shaking...

warped brake rotors?

What mounts were replaced exactly? There is a motor mount, a trans mount, and three torque mounts technically.

The rear is a torque mount for the most part.

I dont run the driver/passenger side torque mounts in my H swapped Civic, but my vibrations come from the stiffer engine mounts.

Check those mounts.(torque mounts)
Look at them and see if they are broken.
They are pretty weak to begin with.
I recommend using these ones.

FYI to those who use aftermarket engine mounts.
There is a myth if you use aftermarket engine mounts that you dont need the torque mounts anymore.
This is a myth.. Call Hasport if you dont believe me.

Just for my own knowledge, what does not running those torque mounts do for you?

I live outside the states and in my country i either have to get OEM parts or chinese parts, so my conren is to know the main role of torque mounts.
It will cost me about 150$ to change the 2 torque mounts.

thx
