Default Can a stock 95 Civic pull a small trailer safely..

Guys, the po of my 95 had installed a small trailer hitch. It is a manual and I had never thought about pulling a small trailer untill now. the factory manual was missing so I do not know what the factory says about pulling any type of load. Question is will a small, lightly loaded trailer place too much a strain on the drive train. It is not worth having to replace the tranny due to burned up parts.

I use to pull two sea-doo's in a 94 ex coupe auto for a year with no problems. Person who bought the car drove it for years with no problems. It is probably not the best thing for a civic trans but it can be done.
