hey guys well i have a 94 eg hatch and its time for a new engine and im going b18b and i was going to BAR it but i just need a few words as how hard is it to BAR it or if any of you CA guys have done it.

 

USDM engine and ECU
Its easy as long as you have all the emissions connected.
Look at a LS integra engine bay, take pics of all the components.
Make sure you have the same things under the hood of integra in the hb.
With a 94hb there should be no problem, everything should be almost the same.
Your biggest hurdle is passing the visual inspection.
emissions, cat, exhaust.
If you have a good healthy engine you should be fine.
If its a high mileage engine you might want to refresh it before putting it in.
When you are done with the swap you will have to call the Smog referee office to make an appointment to see the ref.
Usually they are located at a Jr college near you.

Take it to them .. they do the visual inspection, and then they test it like a normal smog test.
If it passes you get the wonderful decal that make the police cringe should you get pulled over.
