Default OBD0 to OBD1

If i am to convert my CRX to OBD1, with the STOCK engine, is it still required to change the distributor and the O2 sensor? my intent is not to have VTEC and drive a stock ECU, but to use Neptune with wideband O2 sensor on a non-VTEC stock D16.
can i get away with a simple conversion harness and an ECU?

negative bro an obd-1 ecu has to be used with an obd-1/2 distributor theres a diff number of teeth it has to pick up and obd-0 dizzys have fewer so ecu and dizzy has to be the same obd. i did have a crx obdo with a turbo y7 with stock d16a6 dizzy with all three bolt holes, so u can do the reverse. so 96-98 d16y7 non-vtec dizzy should bolt and give you all three mounting holes then just add an obd2 dizzy plug onto your engine harness cuz obd1 & obd2 dizzys are internally the same just different plugs/bases. and 4 wire 02 sensor is needed obd1 cant use the obd0 1wire. some ecu programs can turn off your 4wire 02, i did on hondata s100. u can stick with your stock obd0 injectors/resistor box or go with obd1 injectors and remove resistor box and use the obd1 8-pin block off plug. the injectors dont matter either way. but dizzy and o2 needs to be obd1/2 with obd1 jumper and ecu. for an ecu you can chip an obd1 1.5 po6. that should just about cover it bro. hope that helps

thank you. although i still suspect i won't need the 4 wire O2 sensor if i am to use a wideband one.

You can turn off the o2 heater and use narrow band simulation so the ecu can function like stock. If you are remotely competent at tuning, you should turn the o2 all the way off and just run off the maps. I've gotten 3-5 mpg gains that way.
